The method

How we check every number

Most recruitment sites retype the numbers. Retyping is where the errors come from — and once a wrong figure is copied by the next site, nobody can tell which one was first. So we do not retype anything.

The document proves itself, or it does not go up

A notification is not just a list of numbers. It is a table whose rows, columns and grand total all have to agree. That makes it checkable without anyone's opinion:

Read from the source file

The vacancy table is extracted from the official PDF on the recruiting body's own website — not from a summary, a news report, or another listing site. The filename and the link are printed on every page.

Add up every row

For each state, the reserved categories plus unreserved must equal the total the document prints for that state. Twenty-four states means twenty-four independent checks.

Add up every column

Each category column across all states must equal the category total printed in the document's own summary row. Six more checks, and they cannot pass by accident.

Publish the figures only if they passed

If a check fails, the vacancy figures do not appear at all. Not shown with a warning — not shown. The drive itself still gets a page, because its dates and its advertisement number are useful and separately verifiable; but the numbers stay off it until they prove themselves.

What that means today, counted

Not a promise about the method — the actual state of what is published, read from the database each time this page loads.

Most of what we hold is thin, and the pages say so where it is. A field we could not read is printed as not read yet rather than left out, so you can tell the difference between a figure the recruiter never stated and one we failed to extract. Sources were last checked 12 minutes ago.

Where a check ran, its result is printed at the bottom of that page in the same words we use internally — rows 24/24 · cols 6/6 · total 7680 vs printed 7680. You do not have to take our word for it; the link beside it opens the document we read. Where no check was possible, the same place says not checked and why — it does not print a row of question marks and call that a check.

What we will never do

We will never ask for your login

We do not fill application forms, we do not submit anything on your behalf, and we will never ask for a portal password, an OTP, or a payment. If a site claiming to be us does, it is not us.

We do not hold your documents

Your photograph, signature and certificates belong on the official portal and nowhere else. Anything you work out here stays in your own browser.

This is not a government website. It is an independent record of what government notifications say. Where this site and the official document disagree, the document is right — tell us and we will correct it. Every correction we make is logged publicly, with what was wrong and for how long, on the corrections page — a page we hope stays short.
